A fast-growing mint that makes fragrant and lovely greenery in bouquets. Applemint prefers moist soil and is one of the tallest varieties of mint, at times reaching 3 feet in height. If you are concerned about it spreading, I recommend containing in pots as it reproduces and spreads quickly via rhizome runners underground.
